Maranatha church's Prayer Mountain is a place of spiritual recollection adapted for all types of public demographics.

There you will find a special place to do many activities such as: We have a sanctuary with a 300 persons capacity.
Instruments for worship. Sound.

For outdoor prayer we have our prayer garden, a beautiful place with seats for prayer journeys.

Baptisms: These can be done in the river that surrounds the mountain.

Recreation: We have an open field for obstacle courses, outdoor games and adaptation for special games.

Walks: We have a large expanse of land and safe roads. Picnic: We have grills for barbecuing and sharing among family.

The accommodation in each dormitory includes 7 beds with comfortable mattresses and enough space to share each night with the group of people sharing the room.

The sanctuary accommodates 300 people comfortably and includes very comfortable seating. It also has a stage with instruments and a lectern for preaching.

How to get to Prayer Mountain

1. Take Diversey West to Cicero / 2. Turn south (left) and continue until you see the Eisenhower Expressway to the West. Continue and stay to the left to take I-88 to Aurora. You will pay toll 3 times. / 3. After the third toll and after running 97 miles find the exit towards Dixon, Illinois. / 4. A toll of $ 1.40 in cash is paid at this exit. Be sure to have exact change. / 5. After paying the toll turn right onto 26th road going towards Dixon / 6. Follow and pass the village and a large bridge and you will find that the road becomes 52nd. 52nd joins the 64. This one reaches Savanna. / 7. Follow the 52 by 40 miles. You will pass by Polo, Lenark, and other small towns. Watch out for the speed in these little towns. (30mph)./ 8. After entering Lenark you are about 10 miles to Mount Carroll. (Mount Carroll is before Savanna). / 9. Upon arriving at Mount Carroll you will find a gas station on the right where there is a SUBWAY RESTAURANT. This establishment is called The Land of Oz. / 10. Follow and count 3 miles until you reach a road (Quarry Road) and turn right. / 11. Follow this road until the end of it. / 12. At the end turn left, pass a bridge; you will see a Horse Barn. / 13. Continue until you find the next entry on the right. / 14. Cross a very narrow bridge and you have reached the Maranatha Prayer Mountain.
